Here Come the Holidays
Fall seems to have come and gone and Christmas is now just around the corner, only seven short weeks away. We wanted to share some style tips that will transition you into the coming winter season. We might even get you thinking about your holiday shopping.
Tis' the season for layering. As the weather continues to drop we like to pile on the layers. Plaids, cardigans, jackets, scarves and beanies. There is something so aesthetically pleasing about a perfectly layered look. This especially goes for the gentlemen, there is nothing we love more than a well layered man! The key is to incorporate different textures and fabrics to achieve this look. Some of our favourite pieces right now are this Minimum wool blend jacket, this Soia & Kyo cardigan and this beautiful knit Soia & Kyo scarf.
Everyone needs a go to pair of jeans. We suggest investing in a couple pairs of denim each year or if your budget allows, each season. A clean dark pair and perhaps something a little more fun with some distressing gives you as much versatility as you need. With multiple brands, fits and price points we guarantee we will find you the perfect pair.
Speaking of investment pieces, this is another one that will keep you warm all season and likely last a lifetime, jackets! Soia & Kyo is a long time favourites of ours and it also happens to be one of our Canadian lines. This down filled Saundra jacket will keep you extra warm and dry all winter with its water repellent shell, sherpa lined hood and luxurious fur detailing. If you are feeling a little adventurous this winter perhaps you should invest in something like this leopard print jacket. Call us crazy but it's kind of a fun staple piece. Gentlemen, if you are on a hunt for a winter jacket, look no further - Alpha has multiple options such as bombers, parkas and utility jackets that are all going to keep you as stylish as they are warm.
Hope this helps to inspire your shopping to come! If you have any questions or need any help with styling, pop into the store and we would love to help! xx
